Diamond Facilities Support launches in-demand fire and security maintenance firm

27 July 18

Diamond Facilities Support is accelerating its expansion by launching a specialist fire and security maintenance firm to meet growing demand.

Sanctuary Fire & Security will provide compliance, remedial works and maintenance to fire safety and security systems, in addition to a 24/7 reactive service.

It’s the third business this year to be launched by Diamond Facilities Support, which currently turns over £9.5 million a year.

This is part of the firm’s strategy and continuing ethos of direct labour, with 90 per cent of jobs carried out in-house uniquely positioning Diamond Facilities Support in the market place.

Adam Atkins, joint managing director at Diamond Facilities Support, said: “Fire and security maintenance services are in massive demand for understandable reasons and organisations have had to sharpen their focus on compliance around fire safety.

“The number of enquiries we are now taking relating to fire safety and security has grown up to three-fold over the past year.

“Our focus is to be one of the only facilities management businesses that provides fire safety services in-house.

“The facilities management sector plays a key role in ensuring buildings are fit for purpose, so high standards need to be met at all times, which is why it is important to have our own engineers providing this service.

“We have already secured contracts to maintain fire and security systems at 400 care homes nationwide, 25 fleet management depos, 37 plant hire depots and 30 karting attractions with additional clients coming on board.”

Other business launched by Diamond Facilities Support this year include drainage business Jet Through Limited, and commercial cleaning firm Nationwide Property Clean Limited.
